The Young Ax debut album. I listen to a lot of Jazz and vintage Funk, but also Old School Hip Hop. I try to carry this vibe into DrumnBass music. There is no place for cold electronic sounds on these lively and complex eleven tracks. This is 100% pure Young Ax: bridging the gap between musical ambition and rocking the dancehall. Müggelheim is located on the very south-east of Berlin, too far out for the metropolitan hype. Here are the green lungs of Berlin and the home of Young Ax. Born and raised in Berlin's beautiful "green district" Koepenick.

In the early 90's Jungle came from London to Berlin and Alex was absolutely hooked by the phat bass and rolling beats. It inspired him a lot and he wanted to create his personal version of this exciting music.
